Ok, so I decided to start studying for APES in the summer, because APUSH at my school is very time consuming. So far, I am planning on taking notes on the Cliffsnotes AP Environmental Science and reading Smartypants before the exam next year (yea I realize how much time I have to study, I’m just an overachiever). However, I’m not sure if Cliffsnotes has everything I need to know f9r the exam. It was published sometime around 2011, and there are not many reviews on it. Does anyone know if Cliffsnotes is good enough to study out of without a textbook?
I’ve decided to just get Barron’s. I know that it probably overprepares you for the AP exam, but I would hate to spend all this time studying out of Cliffnotes to only get a 3. Besides, I have 10 months to study Barron’s, so if I study wisely, I can almost guarantee myself a 5 (even if I don’t need half the stuff I learned for the exam to get a 5).
