AP Euro and World HIstory

How are AP Euro and World history different?
I am considering self-studying one of them based on my current world history class, which is neither AP or Honors (my school does not have them) and has covered early european philosophies, Greece, Rome, Britain's formation of democracy, French Revolution, American Revolution, Industrial Revolution, Imperialism, and WWI...
Which one should I take, considering that my class hasn't really covered non-European areas such as Asia and Africa till the imperialism section?

Looking at how colleges view these courses - you are more likely to get credit for Euro than World. World is too broad a subject for many colleges to grant specific credit, although you might get an elective credit.

I would say euro if you have enough time to get in-depth, it's a much more detailed class than world. I would say world if you cannot put a lot of time into it.
