Any ideas on likely FRQs for this year's exam?

My teacher had a divine vision and saw a question pertaining to fall of communism, and women in Russia.
I think it’s going to be on absolutist rulers like Maria Theresa.

^ Doubt it. Last year one of the essays I wrote about dealt with the fall of communism. Not sure why they would do that two years in a row.

I’m hoping for something on the Enlightenment, or Louis XIV ;)

i hope its on imperialism, i would so attack that essay and get a 9

Imperialism was the DBQ topic last year. I was really lucky; the summer reading assignment I chose for Euro covered that extensively so I had outside information to bring in and everything - hello, 9.

Anyway, I would be somewhat surprised if they had another imperialism topic, but since it was the DBQ before it’s possible that imperialism could be an essay choice I guess.

Could you tell me a little bit how you’d “attack” an essay such as:

Explain the causes and consequences of the carving of Africa in the Berlin Conference of 1885.

perhaps, one of them will be "what was napoleon’s last name?
