Ap European History - How They Grade You

Nope, outside info is an extra point outside of the core 6 points

OP, where did you get those grade distributions? How do you know it's accurate?

I grouped my DBQ into 4 paragraphs:

Nationalism
Human perfection
Mass spectator
Women in sports and their struggel for equality

Does that sound good?

I actually thought this test was easy. On the MC, i left about 9 blank but the ones i marked im pretty sure I got about 90% of those correct. I believe my essays were good too, i wrote about 4 and about a half pages for each essay. My only concern is that I have horrible handwriting and the graders might not be able to read my essays........

Its history freaks like u that i cant understand! i hope u have BIG handwriting

ahaha - nice.

but my history teacher said last year's test was harder than usual....sorry for being pessimistic but what if the curve is different.....eeeekkk

what do you guys think will happen if the graders are not able to read a student's essay?

DBQ=5 pages, 1st essay=4 pages, last essay=6 pages (I assume you mean sides, not pages)

Do you guys know how much the graders will mark you down on the FRQ if you only wrote a one sentence conclusion? It was on #5, since I divided it into 4 body paragraphs, and therefore, ran out of time to write a real conclusion. ugh, should have spent less time on the DBQ..

is that really true? I heard conclusions don't even earn points. I only restated my thesis as the conclusion.

Composite Scores:
5 : 121 - 180
4 : 98 - 120
3 : 67 - 97
2 : die
1 : loser

According to the REA Book:

Composite Scores
5: 114-180
4:91-113
3:74-90
2:49-73
1:0-48

Everything was easy, MC (I know I missed 4, not sure how many more, but not much), DBQ, Essays 4 and 7. Simple.

Will they just give me a 0 on the essays if they cant read my handwriting?

i thought the ap euro exam was moderately ok. what about you all.

The people in my class actually started cracking up after they read the DBQ question (myself included).

The mutipple choice was crazy!

The free responses were not too difficult....I am aiming for a 4
