i find it strange how MIT is also my dream college… It’s the only one i want to go to, all others dont appeal to me as much as MIT does.

you guys won’t want to go to MIT once you see how competitive and anti-social it is. It’s an amazing school, but don’t limit your prospects.

Im anti-social…lol.

Hey guys, congrats to most of you on doing well on your exams. Im actually taking the exam on 24th as a late exam. Ould anyone help me out a bit by sharing any released exans you may have??if you only have it as real papers and not as a pc document viuld you maybe just take a picture of it with a decent quality (smartphones these days are good enough) that its legible, and send it to me?? Thanks a lot in advance. My email is jay-g-94@************
best of luck to guys that are taking any other exams

^^ they probably have different versions

The suffragettes may have vandalized things a bit but the Luddites were the ones who were known for it. The poster also fit the time period of the Luddites better (if I’m remembering correctly it was from the early 19th century, and the suffragettes were mainly early 20th).

@Eurohistory: trying so blatantly to violate test integrity is a really bad idea, especially considering that you’re giving away contact information that could possibly identify you. First of all, if anyone finds out who you are, your scores will be invalidated. Also, even if you do find out about this test, it won’t help because they’re going to change it. Collegeboard releases some old exams and every essay question, so if you want more examples of what’s on the test start there.

@smwhtslghtlydzed

hey i guess you and some other guys misunderstood me;

when I was asking for exams, I was referring to the released exams (2004 and 2009) because I dont haev them. I just added the fact that i’m taking the “late exam” in case people might wonder why the hell I would need preparation after the test date. So if anyone could share any of the RELEASED OLD EXAMS, it would be really nice.
Thank you

Essay was a very easy task for me.

oh and btw, I do have the released exams for micro and macro. I’ll trade with anyone who has the released euro history exams of 2004 and 2009. please pm me. thanks

Okay, what was the French Revolutionary/Napoleonic era question actually asking? What did they mean by “national identity”? I thought this was a very vague question and I found it difficult to answer because I wasn’t sure what they were asking for.

^ I thought “national identity” meant how they came to nationalism? idk… lol

@z1123581321

I chose that topic too and thought my first body paragraph was very off topic. Napoleon era was easy I guess everybody just talked about how his territorial conquest made Frenchmen proud… But Revolutionary Era I totally have no idea what they mean by “gov policies”… Lots of things that happened during that period were more like protests and how civilian reacted to monarchy/republic

I talked about the Civil Constitution of the Clergy. True, it divided France in a lot of ways, but the government forced the clergy to swear an oath of loyalty to the state. Also, I discussed the wars w/ Austria & Prussia. The enemy got pretty close to destroying the government, but there was a wave of national pride and the French people pushed back. “La Marseillaise” ([La Marseillaise, French National Anthem (Fr/En) - YouTube](<a href=“La Marseillaise, French National Anthem (Fr/En) - YouTube”>La Marseillaise, French National Anthem (Fr/En) - YouTube)) was composed in 1792, and that’s the French national anthem today. It’s really stirring/patriotic. Then there was the draft. The French army became enormous as a result, and was able to just swarm over all the tiny professional armies assaulting it.

I wrote about the Continental policy kicking Britain out of French affairs thus giving the French a reason to nationalize their own economy and that even though that Napoleon was a dictator and conquerer, his building of an army and desire for territorial conquerings encouraged the expansion and love for the homeland of France. Also I mentioned the civil code of 1804 which provided suffrage which probably binded France together through a common trait. Does anybody know how many points out of 9 we get for answering the question and providing an acceptable thesis?
