What did you guys think of the DBQ? I thought it was moderately easy.

DBQ was really easy for me, extremely easy to bring in outside info and do plenty of POV. FRQs were okay, kind of semi-BSed my way through 2 and 7. Multiple choice was easier than expected though, should have around a 65-70

I completely screwed up the DBQ… I’m hoping for a 4 at least.

I chose 2 and 7 and I’m hoping my MC averages out my DBQ.
Ugh, I can’t believe I screwed that up!

@whatslife for the Manet Boat portrait I put A. And it is not baroque.

AP results are mailed back in the second week of July.

i thought the dbq was easy, i brought in a lot of outside information and wrote 5.5 pages

Manet is an impressionist

what was the answer to the question: “Why did population in the cities increase during the 1800s?”

i chose the answer that said that people from rural areas were going to cities.
also–
does anyone know the answer to the question with the people destroying statues and what not?

^ oh i wasn’t sure about that but i put migration from towns? cause i thought the people came for work during the ind rev? not sure though

MC was a little more difficult than expected, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly hard.
DBQ wasn’t bad, and I did question 7 for my 2nd frq. I put more time into parts A and C, so I didn’t really have enough time to write much of anything for part B. Seeing as I at least wrote something that was on the topic and wasn’t incoherent, I can’t imagine that they’d give me a zero, but all things considered, I really screwed the pooch on my time management, I’d say a 5 is almost certainly out of the question, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I got a 4.

Regarding the test, what did everybody answer for that question that showed a comic/poster of Marx directing people off a cliff? I think I picked the answer that related to it being Nazi propaganda, but it very well may have been the exiles living in Germany.

And what about the question showing a comic with eastern and western european countries sitting opposed to each other? I think I said it was the cold war, but I wasn’t certain.

^ you have the correct answers for both of those, nihilarian

Under the Marx picture it was sourced to some Nazi propaganda collection which gave away the answer. The “broken frames” poster also had “Nottingham 1811” under it so it was obvious it was Britain.

I thought I did pretty well on MCs, at least 55 right for sure. I wrote four pages on the DBQ but I may not have related back to the question enough. The other two essays (I did 4 and 5) were miserable but I wrote 1.5 pages for each. If appass.com is right, I can get 57/80, a 7 on the DBQ, and a 4 and 5 on the other two essays and still get a 5 on the test.

Are you guys even allowed to discuss the MC questions…

what was the difference between erasmus and luther? I put that their believers had to be literate or something… it was choice A. Also, what effect did the protestant reformation have on women?

I thought the MC was easy due to the relatively low amount of questions from post-WWII (my class only got up the period around the Suez Crisis–1953).
DBQ-- moderately easy, thank god there were no pictures

frqs–HARD. did 2 and 7

hoping to get 65/80, 7 dbq, 4 on both frqs.(ill possibly get a 5 with that combination)

i put the salvation one for the dif. between Erasmus and Luther (not sure, just a guess)
and the women one (again, an educated guess) I put the one about education

for the FRQs, I did 3 and 6. For me, the multiple choice was about what I expected, while the DBQ and 2nd FRQ were probably easier than I thought, but the first FRQ was really difficult.

I thought the DBQ was easy, the MC were easy, but the FRQ Part C was a bit challenging. Overall, it was awesome though ; Better than I expected (of course, I thought I would fail, as I … erm, know NOTHING past WWII/ SOME Communist stuff.)

I did 4 and 6 on the FRQ section. 6 was just NASTY, but less so than 5 and 7. They were all pretty annoying on Part C though.

Overall I predict around a 67/80 on MC, 7 DBQ, 7 1st FRQ, and 4-5 Second FRQ. I HOPE lol. I think that puts me in a safe 5 range, so I’m all right. It was happy overall.

SO Tired though! Guys, we DID IT! (with awesome CC prowess of course )

To next year Euro students : It’s a GREAT course. Damn, I hate it being over. Take it!!

For the woodcut one, I think I put the answer with Dutch in it.

For the difference between Erasmus and Luther, I put the one about salvation as well. My reasoning was that obviously Luther believed that only faith is required for entrance into heaven, whereas Erasmus, a Catholic, would have encouraged good works as well.

And as for the effects of the Protestant Reformation on women, I think I put the one about education as well. But there was another answer choice that was a close second choice. I just don’t remember what it was…

was the one with people tearing stuff down in a church representing something with protestantism?
