AP European History Post Test

What was that even about??

Oh, right. That question.

What did you guys put for that question with the letter C or G or whatever on an anvil?

I took a shot at it and put the one about the stress on heavy industry…?

^ Urgh. I hated that question, and I said something about Communism movement in Poland I think … there was a choice like that. But I think I got it wrong.

What did you guys get for the question about the similarities between Charles I and James I? I put that they didn’t have legitimate claims to the throne, but a lot lot of people in my class put the catholic foreign affairs one.

@biovball, do you remember any of the other answer choices?

Wasn’t there another one about religion?
If not, do you by any chance remember anything else about the “Catholic foreign affairs” answer?

It was “pro Catholic foreign affairs” which was the correct choice because he was not catholic.

I’m sorry, I don’t remember much else about the question.

Some other questions I remembered:

-What was a major cause of witch hunts
-How were women affected from Protestant Reformation

EDIT: I must have misread the question, crap. Was it one of those EXCEPT ones?

Yes-- it was except though I don’t recall it stating EXCEPT at the end. It was similar to “all of the following but…”

i think that i remember putting that it was untrue that they were hated for trying to impose anglicanism on scotland (because they were catholics so they wouldn’t impose protestantism on anybody). i dont remember how they phrased that though… if it was an “except” problem or what…

What were your three groups for your DBQ? I put strong government, equality/balance, and revolution.

I put something similar. I had four groups: 1) laissez-faire economy, government controlling worker’s lives, workers gaining more influence in government, and revolution.

I thought the multiple choice was fairly easy. I didn’t have time for about 5-8 of them, so I had to guess, but on the ones I answered I was confident, so I think I got atleast 60-65 right.

Regarding the James I and Charles I, the question was something like “they experienced criticisms in all of the following EXCEPT?”
I think I put the legitimate one. If I remember correctly both were legitimate rulers. James I was given the throne after Elizabeth I died and Charles I was his son.

@bobflanagan: I had pretty much the same categories

Yea, the James I and Charles I one was an except question. I chose the illegitimate choice too, because I don’t think their legitimacy was ever challenged… But I was nearly delirious in the end… Hadn’t had a proper night a sleep in two weeks and had to switch over from APUSH to AP Euro without stopping because my school’s APUSH exam didn’t end until it was like 12:30… So I don’t know.

I wish I could be as confident as some of you guys. ): The waiting is going to kill me. My DBQ’s and FRQ’s were always really weak when my teacher gave tests and I think I could have picked better choices.

I did:
-laissez-faire
-Government intervention
-banding together/revolution

^ Exactly.

I separated into 3 groups

  1. Population economists who didn’t want gov. intervention
  2. Moderate socialist government who wanted to step in
and 3) Revolutionary Marxists and Socialists who wanted to take over gov. with control of proletariat.

Oh, I remember now. I put the “impose Anglicanism on Scotland” choice for the James and Charles question.
Although now I see how the “illegitimate claim” choice could be correct too.
Oh well.

What did you guys put for the cause of witch hunt one?
I know I got it wrong. I wasn’t thinking right and put the “reaction to Enlightenment” choice -.-

^ i put something with fear

Also… That one manet question what did u guys put? I think I said something about middle class

Also for the nazi ideology… I didn’t know any ideology & since my teacher briefly went over 20th century, Nazi Germany is what I know best out of the 3. So I wrote about pure race & discrimination & Germany’s weaken economy…

That’s sooo wrong but any thoughts?
