I am going to purchase an AP Euro textbook via Amazon to self-study. I've decided on A History of Western Society: Since 1300, but there are multiple editions of this book. Some are said to be the AP edition, but these are almost thrice the price of the regular edition. Does it make a difference if I purchase the non-AP edition? Does the information contained differ between editions?

I would definitely get the AP edition if you can. However, I am using that book in class and my personal opinion is that it is very tiresome to read. The chapters are there but their sections are not defined. If I had a choice, I probably would get History of the Modern World since that textbook goes with the AP Achiever European History prep book, which I am currently using and helps me to understand the content better. Just my piece of advice.

just boy ap achiever and MEH
you’ll get a 5
