AP Exam if I did well on SAT II?

I took the December 1 SAT Subject Test in World History and received an 800. I'm now considering taking the AP Exam for World History in May. But I've already forgotten details since December, but I still remember concepts and can probably easily remember details with studying. But I also don't want to take on too much. I will also be taking AP Bio, APUSH, AP English, and AP Physics B exams (I actually have classes in all of these).

So my question is: is the WH SAT Subject Test similar enough to the AP Test that I'll do fine using my SAT II study book for it? Does this seem like too much trouble than it's worth? But on the other hand, even if I happen to get a 1 or something, it won't hurt me, correct?

Uh…no one has any advice?

If you get a 1, the credit just won’t be accepted by colleges. You don’t need to send it.
But it is doubtful that you’ll get a 1 if you got full score on the SAT 2. They are both by the college board and I think they’re pretty even.

Have you taken other history AP exams? The AP will have FRQs and DBQs which SAT did not. At the two schools my Ds go to (one large uni, other small selective LAC), AP credit is not given for world hist except as elective or interdisciplinary credit - as opposed to APUSH and AP Euro. You might want to check at some of schools you are thinking about, unless you want sheer number of hours, you might be better off just handling well the 4 you have on your plate.

If you consider it, go to bookstore and take a look at AP guide and see what the differences are.
