AP Exame Scores

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if any of you knew what the ap exam scores translate to for percentages. On some sites, they said that a 5 is a 90 percent but I didn't think that was true because I remember hearing differently. Thanks! :)

It depends on the exam.

It varies between exams and years. For a 5, you can need as low as 55% (Physics C E&M) to the mid 80s (econ). There are some scoring guides for older exams available on the collegeboard website than can give you an idea of the general score range for an exam, but as I said before, each year the curve is a bit different. However, a 5 is supposed to represent an A or an A+ in an equivalent college course, regardless of the raw score required to get it.
