Ap German

Hey I'm an international applicant from Korea and I want to take Ap German.

Since there is not much people and materials, I really don't know about it.

The only thing I got is Ap German book from NLC(National Learning Corporation)
but I'm not sure cuz it's not from a major publisher.

From those who took Ap German can you tell me more about it?

Thanks :)

The best guide that I found was the College Board’s study guide, which you can buy from their website (get the teacher edition for answers to the practice problems). They redid the AP German test for this year, though, so I wouldn’t get anything until study guides reflecting the new test format are released. Good luck!

I can’t offer any help with exam specifics (I took it this year, but it’s changing), but if you want any help with self study materials or books in general let me know - I’ve self studied numerous languages and know all the different series and which are the best for each language (I have about 10 different German books and I can tell you the ups and downs for each).

Hey, I’m Korean & I want to take AP German too! Nice to meet you :)

TERMStudent - what self-study materials would you recommend? Also, I have yet to look thoroughly through the course PDF, but how difficult would you say it is? If you’re familiar with the Zertifikat Deutsch, would you say around B1/B2 or higher?

I’d say B1, at most. I took a B1 Sprachdiplom exam this year; it was on about the same level.
