So at my school, American Gov (1 semester) is required for graduation...
So I am taking it this year, and was planning on taking Sociology for the 2nd semester.
BUT if I want, I can sign up to take AP Gov for the 2nd semester. Is it worth it? I am more interested in Sociology, but the teacher is great for Gov... and I'll already know her...

I think it depends on what you might major in and your interests,

However, if you go the AP route (I’m going to assume you’re talking about AP US Gov, and I just pulled stats from schools that are mentioned often on the forum as I’m not exactly sure what your top choices are):

-All UCs give credit for a 3 or above on the exam.
-Vanderbilt gives credit for a 4 or 5 on the exam, as do Duke, Cornell, Georgetown, and UChicago.
-Northwestern, MIT, and Columbia give credit for a 5 on the exam, but not for a 4.
-Havard, Yale, Princeton, and Stanford don’t give credit whatsoever.
