So, I’m taking AP US Government and Politics next year. I noticed that the review books that I got before my AP Euro exam would have been much more helpful during the actual year…

Which Gov review books would you say are the best for preparing for the exam?

Princeton Review or 5 Steps to a 5. Also, you should be sure to make use of the many resources online related to the course. I think I did well on the exam mainly because of the cram packets I’ve found online than the PR book I bought.

I used Barron’s for AP US Gov as a sophomore, and I got a 4. I also used Barron’s flashcards, which were helpful too. I really liked Barron’s and would highly recommend that. I used Barron’s book and briefly reviewed the flashcards- that’s it, only read it once thoroughly and reviewed in another time I think, and I did that while not learning anything at all in class because our teacher didn’t do anything at all, all year long. I would say Barron’s is good!
