AP Human Geography to AP US Government and Politics

I’ve heard that AP Human Geography is a good class to do to prepare for AP US Government and Politics even though APHG is much easier. Is it because they are very similar in content, curriculum, organized similarly…? Could someone confirm or clarify this for me? Thanks.

I’ve heard that AP Gov is much harder, so not really. But that’s just what I’ve heard.
