So i’ve decided to take ap human geo next year (junior year), I took APUSH this year and did struggle a bit. Can anyone give me any information on the class and how hard it was. Hoping it’s not going to be too similar to APUSH!!
At our school AP Human Geo is a freshman class and is MUCH easier than APUSH.
APUSH was much easier than AP Human Geography, in my opinion. I took AP Human Geo. during my freshman year, and I took APUSH in my junior year. I think it all depends on your teacher.
At my school, AP geo is a freshman class, so it shouldn’t be that bad
I took the AP Human Geo test & class last year and both were pretty easy…in my school APUSH is way harder than AP Human Geo…
AP Human Geography is a “gateway to AP” class to teach freshmen and sophomore how social science AP exams are set up, what approach and rigor is expected, etc.
I took aphug this last year (as a freshman) and frankly speaking it was very easy. It’s also super relevant so it’s easier to understand. I would definitely take it if I were you!!
This may be one of the most relevant courses you’ll take. If you’re interested in the why of where, you’ll like this. It’s pretty straightforward, so you should be fine.
As it is an AP lite usually for freshman, I wouldn’t take it if it blocks other more academic choices. If it is a light elective fluff class you want to do, that is fair enough.
