the ap exam has 60 mins for about 55 multiple choice questions (anywhere between 4-6 passages).the multiple choice accounts for 45% of your score. then there are 3 essays (essay types include rhetorical analysis, argument, and synthesis). They won't necessarily be all different types of essays. but make sure u can write all three types. each essay is 40 minutes long, though you can vary the time for different essays because they're not separate sessions. you basically write non-stop for 2 hours. there's an extra five minute time slot for the new synthesis essay, which requires you to weave in at least 3 sources out of the given 6 that they give.</p>
<p>anaphora is repeating like words over and over again, usually sounding more powerful each time and adding more emphasis</p>
<p>i remember in ap lang when we read a part of "silent spring" the author kept saying</p>
<p>THEY did this....
THEY bla bla
THEY bla bla</p>
<p>and when you take your exam and you cant remember the NAME of the device, don't freak out, just explain the rhetorical device or whatever and what you would normally do</p>
<p>i blanked out last year for the ap exam and could only remember like the names anaphora and syntax and stuff and i got a 4</p>
