one of my main arguments was outside info. (gas prices)

lol i wrote how the second penny in the picture was not a real penny... then crossed it out.

Are we allowed to be talking about the essay?

I took the synthesis essay down a veeeeeeeeeery interesting approach.

cliffnotes recommends outside info, so i'm gonna agree with the majority here.

My info came from the chief reader in an AP conference I attended. He was adamant that you MUST make your voice central in the argument (personal insight). When I went to the next conference, 3 different readers said the same thing. They hammered the snot out of essays that were dependent solely on the sources.

This was my outside info http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/509560-thank-you-stephen-colbert-ap-related.html

It's clear from the random picture of a current penny and an old one that they were scrambling for an image source hahaha I don't know how someone would use that source in their essay.

I actually used the picture as a source.

I think I used all the sources, even though I was for "getting rid of" blahblahblah.

so now that the test is over, what are you guys doing in your classes?

"Film Festival"

We're watching Pride & Prejudice now, but it's relevant since we just finished reading the book.

My teacher is having us prepare for college applications, like starting our essays and such.

We're also apparantly going to read another book, but it will be voted on by the class so it's all good. :)

Basically, school is over for me! haha

:Edit: Ahh, my reply didn't come through. This is in response to the first post of the second page? xD

Hm... the only problem I see about this is that one of the main sources in support of the abolishment suggested a rounding up/down of prices in order to compensate for the lack of pennies. And I wrote in support of the penny's abolishment, and thought that most sources supported that... but I could be very wrong. Hm. And since I'm also in AP Econ, I supported my argument with o a lot of econ stuff... :P

A friend of mine actually used the source with the pictures of the pennies!

Every time he used the word penny in his essay, he cited the picture rofl

uhm ok were writing a question in ap english and i hav to make the sources and everything does anyone know how to do the mla format for the box???

what do you mean by box?
