I've been studying for AP Lang but I still can't manage my time. I can't finish the MC qs in 60 minutes. I only get up to low 40s..

Can you guys give me some tips on how to do the questions faster? Thanks.

Don’t know it? Guess. There’s no penalty for guessing.

When left with no time, do the quickies (The ones that refer to certain lines or ask what kind of terms in the poem/essay/passage). Then guess the rest.

Bro what are you talking about. There are penalties for guessing. CB deducts 1/4 of a point for each incorrect answer.

There’s no penalty for guessing. That’s solely for the SAT, correct?

I don’t know haha. This whole time I thought CB deducted 1/4 of a point for the AP Language & Composition exam. I’m so confused. Do they or do they not? Anyone know for certain? I just looked on ap central and it said they don’t but for some reason I’m still doubting myself.

There is no deduction for guessing. That went away a couple of years ago. No fractional deduction in addition to zero.

there is no penalty. your proctor should tell you this

Thank god for no penalty. I wish the SAT would adopt this same strategy. :/
