Read The Poisonwood Bible by Kingsolver in 10th grade and it was a great book. Long but good.</p>

<p>I've read how to read lit like a professor...its not that hard to read and its quite helpful :D You can thank Oprah for the Poisonwood bible....</p>
<p>I LOVED the Poisonwood Bible. Unfortunately it takes about a quarter of the book to really get into it though.</p>

<p>And then we have a list of choice books and we have to choose one so i choose The Life of Pi, I already started reading it, its very interesting!</p>

for senior IB English, we only have to read One Hundred Years of Solitude, but last year it was The Secret Life of Bees and The Sound and the Fury (amazing, btw).</p>
<p>My friend's school has the ILLIAD and something else.</p>
