AP Macroeconomics Discussion!

oh. No, sorry, I dont... don't they redo the grading-curve every year? or maybe I am mistaken...ehh... I hope I made a 5... knock on wood

yah, they do, but it usually only fluctuates by a point or two, so I figured if I had a number from a previous year I could, more or less, estimate what I scored

i beleive last year was 70, because that's what my econ teacher had...

yah, and that very well might be, but I just would like confirmation. I'm too OCD for hearsay lol

haha, sorry. that was the best I could do.

yeah i got one long string of B's in the middle of the test, maybe like 4 questions.

it was 3; 51-53 I believe.

Numbers 29-33 were Bs

FRs were absolutely brutal for me... MC was fine.

Ah sorry I thought this was the Micro board... : )

It sounds like the general consensus seems to be that macro was fairly difficult? If that's true relative to past tests, that'd be a good thing for the curve....

Anyone get a string of D's as well as a string of B's?

^yeah, no more than 3 for Ds, and I think I got a string of 4 Bs. Actually, I got a lot of Bs overall, it seemed like. But I might be confusing micro/macro (some active repression going on there). I was concerned too, so I kept rechecking them. But if other people got them too, I feel sorta relieved...

for micro in the lower 50's i got a lot of either Bs or Ds i forget but i know i got a string of letters

on the first column my answers were pretty diverse
but on the column there were a few "in a row's"
like 3 B's or smth and i remember some A's in a row as well?
wasnt too sure

it was on micro that the lower 50's were D's and PR book says 60/64 (books at school so dont remember which) or over is a 5.

beatmaster, yah, I got a string of Ds. I got 37-40 as D, and I am positive on all but one of them--39, which I think I got wrong, was about the loanable funds market (I said it determined the nominal interest rate, which was D, but I think it was B, which said that it's supply curve was vertical)

actually i think loanable funds determines real ineters rates paungle......i put the same answer as u.

well it may determine REAL interest rates, but not nominal? I don't know, I thought it was D too, but I am skeptical seeing four in a row that are D. Did anyone else get four Ds in a row?

I don't know if it was 4 in a row or not, but I remember freaking out about getting too many Ds. I also got a lot of Cs, but not as many as Ds.
