AP macroeconomics or AP psychology

Which of these is more impressive to top colleges? I need to know which is better soon because i'm meeting with my guidance counselor tomorrow

Why don’t you just ask your counselor when you see them?

AP psychology, that’s an easy one. Its fun observing what you learned in the classroom during lunch the different groups of kids (simple social psychological phenomena). I find it interesting but it might not be appealing to your frame of reference

idk they’re both seen as realtively easier APs
I would do macro though

Really? They’re seen as easy?

“Relatively easier”. Probably in reference to Physics C and Calc BC, for example.

Take the one that interests you and align with your potential major. Do not make the choice based upon which will look more impressive to top colleges.

^ basically this, their rigor is roughly on par

Take both and self study psych

^ ^
Good idea. I’ll probably do that

They’re pretty equal in terms of difficulty, and also pretty easy. I’m not sure about how your school teaches AP Economics, but at mine we take AP Microeconomics first semester and Macroeconomics second. If that’s the case at your school, then take Econ over Psych because Micro/Macro are separate AP exams, which gives you more opportunities to earn college credit. If not, take whichever interests you more.

macroeconomics (:

I took AP Psych freshman year and both the AP Econs sophomore year, and they were basically at the same level of rigor…so either take the one that you’re more interested in or take both.
