All of us post our questions on either one of the tests and hopefully a fellow CC student can answer the question. I'll start.

Do you all really think we should completely memorize the graph for an imperfect competitor with a zone of economic profit?

which imperfect competitor? the monopolistic competition, monopolist, or oligopoly? anyway, i think the answer to your question is yes

The oligopoly isn't a separate graph. They can either compete freely (perfect competition graph) or form a cartel (monopolist graph)

my teacher says you don't need to know oligopoly graphs because it's "too complicated for our minds" so CB doesn't put it on their tests anymore
hah!

oligopoly isn't confusing.....

Macroeconomics people?
Who's ready for this test?

I'm taking both. I'll be cramming after I get my bio exam out of the way tomorrow.

No idea what Macro is even about..grrrr.. haven't taken class and taken AP for no reason..parents will be ****ed if i dont get at least a 4...what a waste of money..grrrrrrr

I'm taking both, and I have about four days to learn Micro on my own. =

A 4 is pretty easy to get, just know the graphs. http://reffonomics.com/1 is a good site for graphs. Micro is all about the markets, just differentiate them.

thank you! That's super duper helpful!

How many points do I need to score on the Microeconmics test to receive a 4?

just get a 60 and you will be fine...

According to my prep book a 54 raw score out of 90 gives you a 4, and a 71 5

What is the approx curve for macro for a 3,4 and a 5

It's the same for macro. Just 1 more point needed to get a 5. 45 for a 3, according to my prep book.

I have a question. Why does reducing the budget deficit decrease interest rate?

45.......hmmmm let's see if i can get that...

I just picked up the Princeton Review AP Micro/Macro Study Aid for this year and it has pretty much everything to cram for the tests. It has two practice tests too with almost 200 practice problems. It's like $17 at Borders.

out of 90, 60 MC and 30 pts from FR right? I'm getting about 50 from MC so that's good.
