I was wondering that if I start now, would it be too late to be prepared enough to get 3's on both of them? Should I just focus on one? By the way I am also taking Bio and Computer Science A, but I am not that confident in CS A so I want insurance to get the AP Scholar award. Please answer. Thanks

I think you could study enough to get threes in both if you start now. They are not extremely difficult subjects to self-study. I would take both, not just one. Aside from it being one payment for two exams, the material overlaps at several points.

I think you can easily pull 3's if you start right now, but if you decide to take one over the other, I would say Macro. At least for me, I find Macro easier.

i thought they changed the policy so you have to pay for both exams..

^^can anyone clarify this?

I don't think that's true...at least I haven't heard of that policy.

Each exam is seperate and costs 82. The same goes for Physics C and government, and latin.

I think the cost depends on the school. My AP tests all cost $90.

ur getting ripped off tchaikovsky...ur schools getting an 8 dollar cut for every AP test someone takes!

Yeah, the cost is $82/exam. Taking AP Micro and Macro, as of a policy that went in place this year, counts as 2 exams and thus would cost $164. I've never heard of schools charging extra like tchaikovsky's (that's just wrong!!) but some school districts do help pay for exams.

Haha, stonecold23, that's what all my friends said. I go to a prep school, so I guess they can charge whatever they want.

micro and macro were really easy last year.
i didn't even study much for them, but got 5's.
i think you can do it

The cost is actually $74, but the school charges $82 and then gets an $8 rebate back from collegeboard. If the school charges more, they keep it. They only have to send $74 per exam.

Can you get a 5 by reading the Princeton Review?

I am planning to take the AP Micro and Macro exams...which books are the best to study from?

Use the Princeton Review book.

I have the same question as Hazhulkhen... is it possible to get a 5 by reading PR starting now? I have a solid math background, and I am currently in AP English, so English shouldn't be a problem either. How many hours of sutdy (approximately) is needed for a 5?

My friend took Macro-econ in the fall semester, started studying for the exams about two days before, and got 5s on both. But he's good at things like that.

omg..
I pay $100/test
so.. say if I take 7 tests.
I pay $700, the school (district) gets 182..

yay to California Public School system!!!

lol im in SoCal but we only pay $82... however late fee is $100+ =(
