AP out of Calc 1?

Hi all, I’m enrolled as a future engineer at RU, which of course is extremely calc intenstive, with 4 years of it. This year as a senior I’m in Calc Honors (been at B/B+ all year), and recently tried to start reviewing from the Barron’s Book to take the AB Exam. I’m already having some difficulty, and think if I studied really hard I could squeeze a 4, which would exempt me from Calc 1 at Rutgers. However, I worry that if I do so I might not be as good in calculus as if I took Calc 1 at Rutgers. Any thoughts?

Get the Rutgers Calc 1 syllabus and tests online, review the material and see if you know it well enough to skip it.
