AP Phys C: Mech after AP Phys 1?

Okay, so after some deep soul searching I decided to take AP Physics C online after taking AP Physcis 1 (my school didn’t garner enough people to take Physics 2, and I found Physics C more interesting and more aligned with AP Calc AB which I will be taking next year.)
I heard E&M was much harder than Mech from everyone, but is it normal to only take mechanics and not E&M? Like I know some schools do a semester for each, but will colleges look down upon me for doing a whole year of Mechanics?
Also, a lot of mechanics aligns with the AP Physics 1 curriculum as it’s largely Mechanics based, so will they look down on me for taking mechanics after Physics 1? College board says its recommended to take Mech or E&M or Physics 2 after Physics 1, but I didn’t know if I should take that with a grain of salt.
Thanks all!

AP Physics C: Mechanics is no joke. Even if taken by itself, for an entire year, after having already taken AP Physics 1. The problems will be a completely new world from AP Physics 1, especially so considering you have not taken Calculus at this moment.

So no, colleges will not look down on you for taking the second hardest course in high school at all. And neither should you (don’t underestimate it).
