AP Physicists

I'm taking Physics B next year and was looking for books. I KNOW THERE IS the book thread but lets face it. Its 40 pages long and opinions vary from year to year, people to people. So I was hoping those of you who got five (or deserved 5, but got 4) can tell me either to use PR or Barrons. PLEASE help me out b/c it is really confusing me. THANKS!!

Princeton’s is good.

Ya, Princeton is one hell of a reliable book.

I used Princeton Review and found it extremely helpful, but I have a friend who tried both and swears by Barron’s.
I don’t think you can really go wrong either way.

I got both Barron’s and Princeton for Physics B. At the beginning of this year I was going to take both physics B and physics C, but ended up just taking Physics C instead. I did look at both books for my honors physics class, and I would say that some topics Barron’s is better at explaining, and some topics PR is better at explaining. I would go with the Barron’s just because I prefer the over-prep method for physics, and I prefer the harder practice problems, more fun.

If you want to be really well prepared I’d go with Barron’s, if you just want a course refresher, I would go with PR.
