Is barron's better than PR's ? I'm trying to decide which to buy to use during Christmas break.

please help. I have looked around and can't seem to reach a conclusion.

i really have no idea. Barron's seems to overprep you, so go for that. It's best to be that ready in the terms of that. Where is your class as of now in the course of the year (we're taking a test over fluids and such tomorrow)

well, I was hoping to have someone who has experience with these books to inform me, but I appreaciate your response.
We are taking a test next week on fluids, waves, and waves. -chp 12 in giancoli (This is going to suck)

I used Princeton Review for Physics C, but it covers everything in B as well. The theory is concise, to-the-point, and comprehensive. It's a little scant on practice tests, but the chapter review questions make up for it.

Princeton is good for physics. Personally the B book from Barron is poor as it's way too detailed to extremes and not eloquently written per se.

Princeton Review is better by far. Barron's goes in-depth, but everything is explained vaguely.

We just started Work, Energy, Power :-

thnaks, guys. I really appreciate it.

It doesn't matter which edition you get because companies re-use questions, right?
