My teacher said that in MC portion of AP Phys. B, we can use a sheet with all the constants. Is that true?
He said they don't provide equation sheet (which I knew) but i wasn't sure if we were provided with sheet with consants/numbers (like boltzman's, atm, G, etc.)

hmm good question. i'm takin the same test. i know the main constants like g, k=9x10^9 (coulombs constant i think), atm = 100,000 Pa.

i'm sure they won't make you memorize constants like boltzmans or charge/mass of electron/proton so it makes sense that they give you the sheet with constants. you're teacher is probably right.

You are provided the constants sheet on both portions of the test.

reFlex, 1 atm = 101300 Pascals

our teach lets us use the constants page for our multiple choice tests (the only time I've used it though is to look up trig stuff). I'm sure u can use the constants on the multiple choice part of the AP test.

okrogus:
have u taken the test? are u sure?

Just wanna make sure, b/c if it's true, i'm SAVED!! I tried to memorize every constant.

yea i know its 101,325 Pa... im just rounding it calm down.

lol I am calm. just kinda anal bout science :-P

Constants- can be used on MC and FR
Equations- can only be used on FR

Yes, I have taken it. You get the constants page on the m-c just as on f-r sections.
