AP Physics B self study?

Hey guys,
I'm currently taking AP Physics C Mechanics.
This is my second year in physics, last year I took a course (physics honors) that covered a little in each topic ranging from light to magnetism to mechanics.

Should I bother self-studying physics b? the only reason i'd take it is for college credit. how possible is it to score a 5 on this test by self studying/building on what i know already?

btw, has anyone ever tried to self study AP Physics C Magnetism? how did it go?

Thanks!

Mechanics is not too difficult; you can self study with prep books and be fine.
You would need a 4 or 5 for most colleges to give you credit.

At UCLA, you do not receive credit solely for taking Mechanics. You must take E&M to receive Physics Mechanics Course credit!
