AP physics C help

A small mass m is suspended from a string of length L as shown to the right. It is swung through a small angle theta and released. Directly below the suspension point, and at the midpoint of the string is a small peg so that the pendulum swings as shown. Although the motion is not simple harmonic, it does have a period, which is closest to ____?

where would you start? any hints?

thank you.

it's difficult to understand the question without the accompanying pictures, but have you looked at the equation for a pendulum T (period)= 2pi sqrt(L/g), although I think that's only for SHM, so sorry.
