In sophomore year I’m already taking ap bio concurrently with ap chem. Next year should I take AP Physics or DE Physics? If I take DE junior year, I’ll still have to take AP senior year. If I do that, ill get more college credits than doing physics over the summer then doing AP physics C. However, taking 2 ap sciences sophomore year then not taking any junior year seems bad. Please give feedback
Well, AP Physics is actually three courses: You have AP Physics 1 & 2 (which used to be part of one whole class called AP Physics B) and after you take those two, you can take AP Physics C if you class offers it.
AP Bio and Chem sophomore year? How did you do that? In my school, you’re required to take Honors Chem before AP Chem (same goes for AP Bio). Idk, lucky you.
As for taking 2 AP Sciences…eh, its not that hard from what I heard. AP Physics though is hard; its not the math, but the concepts.
All up to you man; if I were you, I would take AP Physics 1. Its easy from what I heard; its AP Physics C that is very challenging.
Plus, Physics C has calculus in it…did you take Calculus already?
We don’t have AP Physics 1 & 2. We have dual enrollment which is pretty much an equivalent. Right now, I’m doing a math course which covers all of precalculus and topics of calculus AB so I can get into Calc BC next year.
