Hello, everyone! I am currently a junior in high school, and my friend and I are considering taking a free online course and eventually take the AP Physics C exam. I am enrolled in Physics H at my school (there is no AP), and we are only on Newton’s Laws of Motion…sometimes I feel that drawing it out so much makes it more confusing. Nevertheless, I haven’t learned that much for the AP exam. Also, I am in PreCalc H (will be taking AP Calc next year), but AP Physics C tests a calculus-based physics. My friend’s dad has a great understanding of Calculus, and she is planning on having her dad teaching her then teaching me. I would like to commit, but I am not sure if I’m over my head with this or if I’d be too stressed. I do multiple extra-curriculars and other AP/H courses. I don’t want to pay and take the exam if I don’t feel comfortable about it, but time is also a concern, and so I don’t want to just work so long and not be able to take it.
Advice?
For those who have taken it, do you think this can be accomplished? How hard is the test? How long did you study? What are the best resources? Etc…
Thanks!
