so whats the difference between taking physics B and physics C? Ive already taken B and am thinking of taking C (self study). Is C completely different from B?

I'm sure that there is considerable overlap regarding the subject matter of the two exams. However, I believe that Physics C is a far more vigorous course that incorporates much Calculus (whereas B does not). I would say that if you excel in the maths and sciences, C would be the class for you. If not, however, I would opt for B.

Physics C does have more calculus and will require a much more complete study of mechanics and E and M. These subjects are covered in Physics B but nowhere near the depth that they are in C.
