is ap physics worth taking if you arent going into engineering?

It depends. It is a great science course. I love physics, so I recommend it to anyone.

But if you feel that you may not enjoy it, don't take it. It is EXTREMELY challenging, from my experience, so if you don't have the passion or the time, then yeah...expect a lower GPA or a low AP Physic test score...possibly. That's just my opinion and what my teachers/counselor said

Take if you are interested. A high school class does not determine your future career.

there's usually a physics B and physics C AP class. Physics B is for people that are interested in going into science and pre-med while physics C is more about engineering. I'm going to be taking physics B next year cause I want to be a dentist, but some people are taking both B and C. You will definitely want to take any AP science class that you can because it's worthwhile on college applications later

It's an interesting class in its whole, but it's a lot of work.

It's definitely worth it if you truly enjoy it, but don't take it otherwise.
