Okay I am taking Econ (micro and macro), Stat, BC Calculus, English Lit, US Gov't, and Psychology AP this year and have A's in all classes except a B in English Lit (Block scheduling so it was last semester) and a C in Psychology this semester. I'm a senior, so I have a little senioritis. I am having the HARDEST time with Psychology and can't explain it. The smartest 3 guys in the school are all making C's in the class while all of these sophomores and juniors are making A's. I can't explain it. I've only made one B ever and this would definately be my first C. Does anyone have any advice on how to make it through this. My teacher is horrible and only reads from the book but then her tests are really weird and composed of analogies of the material etc... It seems like nothing I do helps. I mean I have made 2 5's (APUSC and AB Calc) and 2 4's (English Lang. and Euro History), so I test well. (1450 SAT), but I can't explain why I am doing bad. Is it because I am so logical and psychology isn't?? Can anyone give me an idea. I've tried talking to her, but it doesn't help AT ALL.

Also what are the best study guides since it looks like I'm on my own on this one.

I recommend you to get the barrons review book or princeton's and read it. read the text book as well if you need to.

are you having a hard time because the teacher isn't interesting and is plain boring?.....because mine try to make it interesting so I liked it.

barron's review book. or princeton isn't bad. but princeton doesn't have practice mc questions after each topic so I prefered Barrons, if you can try both. I myself bought the barrons one but my teacher use the princeton one for class.

oh...then you should work on those. My teacher gave us an essay review sheet and every week we have to write an outline of the essay for him. sigh.......I still haven't started it yet.

Well it's really an essay but he called it an outline ~_~.......like defining the terms and then write how it relate to the question. I'd list 1. Definition and then under that a. this relate to that because bla bla.......and then skip a line for the next one. He doesn't want us to put it in paragraphs though.
