I remember reticular formation as arousal/attention by way of “stand at attention/formation!”

@ mchammer312
Wow, that’s confusing…cause roles are associated w/ Identity vs. Role confusion.
Hmmm, maybe I should review now…

nvm i read the question wrong. WHAT’S A COGNITIVE MAP? I said: the connection of thoughts in the human mind…

I’m pretty sure a cognitive map is literally a mental map. Like when you’re driving to a friend’s house, you sort of have a mental map of how to get there. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it is.

Hi, i know it’s kinda late but thanks for you guy’s help on UC,CS, UR,CR xP

How do Barron’s practice tests and 5 Steps to a 5 practice tests compare to the real thing?

Reticular Formation: An alarm clock goes reTICular TOCK and wakes you up (arousal)

I do not believe that anyone addressed this question from a page back. Human factors science is basically a field that combines athropometry, engineering, product design, and cognitive science to create more effective technological tools for the human population.

Does the girl from 50 First Dates suffer from anterograde amnesia or retrograde amnesia?

retrograde amnesia… i believe.

So the identity vs role… is the correct answer right?

Incorrect. It’s actually anterograde amnesia, the loss of memories occurring after the traumatic event.

Retrograde amnesia is the loss of memories from before the traumatic event.

Wow, that’s super confusing. “Ante” means “before” but “anterograde” is loss of memories after.

Ahh… I see. I was going off of a previous poster’s “PORN” pneumonic… :P

Good night and good luck everyone!
