Does College Board ever send some sort of official notification to confirm a scholar award or put it on your score sheet or something? Just wondering.

yes..it appears on ur score sheet...and they will notify u in the fall

Okay, thanks.

does it matter if you are a national AP scholar as a junior or as a senior? because i could try to take the extra AP independently (like macroeconomics) but i already have 4 to deal with including PHYS C without ne prior physics foundation =/

then again if you are one as a senior, you don't get to use the title in ur cllege application huh

yay, AP Scholar....do they mail you a certificate or something?

they mail it in fall.

only try for natl ap scholar if it's going to be on ur college app. otherwise, it's useless.

I qualify for AP Scholar. I only took 3 tests.

I only took 3 tests, so I am just a normal AP Scholar.

AP Scholar with Distinction, five 4s and three 3s...I'm still mad I didn't get National AP Scholar, I screwed around when studying for Calculus AB and Physics C, don't know what the hell happened with AP Literature though. AND HOW THE HELL DID I NOT GET A 5 ON AP GOVERNMENT US!? I only got a 4....

only 6% of people got a 5 last year on the gov exam.

i think it's b/c seniors take it and then slack off and don't do anything

or at least, that's the way it is at my school

I got AP Scholar with Distinction in my sophomore year this year

wait, they tell u on ur score report? isn't that the thing they just mailed to us a few days ago with our AP scores on? cause if so, how come i didnt get anything saying that i got AP scholar?

So for National scholar, do you have to get 4 or greater on all Aps?
Im a sophomore and got 5s in Euro, Calc AB nd Physics E+M. However, I got a 3 in Physics Mech (dont know how it happened). Does that mean Im not qualified for national even if I get 5s on all 6 of my APs next year?

I heard that gov was a really easy test, ktoto

I got AP scholar last year, and I got National AP Scholar this year.
1 2
4 4's
4 5's

For National AP Scholar you need at least EIGHT tests with scores of "4" or higher, and the overall average of your test scores has to be "4" or higher.

And yes Government (US and Comparative) is a really easy test, that's why I'm complaining.

asian nerd. no becuase you have a 5 4 and 3. ur scores of three tests balance out to an average of 4's. You need 8 AP tests with an average of four for each of them toi become an AP national scholar.

Ok, i was just worried because I thought that a 3 automatically disqualifies me from national.
