AP score reports?

I know there are many of you out who took/are taking AP tests this week. Does anyone know if our 2012 AP scores could get us college credit for our freshman year? I was sure that they counted, until i read this…

So here is the information on the Cal Poly portal about AP scores:
“Since new freshmen will have a class schedule created for them for their first quarter, this online course (PolyLearn) is essential to successfully accessing and navigating their schedule. The schedule will reflect any AP credit that the Office of the Registrar has received by June 30. Be sure you have had AP test scores sent to Cal Poly no later than June 30 ,2012. This is ESSENTIAL as the accuracy of your fall schedule will depend on Cal Poly having access to this information.”

and here is the information on College Board:
“You can hear your exam scores and send your scores to colleges by phone with our AP Automated Score Reporting Services. Scores by Phone and Additional Score Reports by Phone are available beginning July 1 and are payable by credit card only.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure July 1 is after June 30…

Well that could be an issue. Maybe you could call and find out and let everyone know? I think I have AP credit for the english class that I would take 1st quarter.

So has anyone found out the answer to this question. I think I will not need to take the english class that is listed in my flow chart (AP test out) for 1st quarter so I would like to get something else but what do we do???

You can/will get college credit… but it may not help towards your graduation requirements… totally depends on your Major. I know, not a real clear answer… but you will learn more during your orientation.

Good luck!
