AP Scores 2008 - Post Your Exam Score Here

blueducky.. it's a test. if anything you'll still get credit for the class and hell you got an A in the class too. i don't see how you could be upset over a 4. do you really care that much?

i dont exactly want to know mine. so i am definitely not going to call in.

I'm sorry, i'm being whiney
I don't even know why this meant so much to me. I don't know, when you spend so much time on something, when you're so sure that you got it, and then you don't get it. What are you supposed to do?
If it was something i naturally sucked at, I totally understand. But US HISTORY is not like that. I was good at it. I have the 800 if you don't believe me.

Holy s***.

yeah i understand what you're talking about. it's kind of the same for me and SAT math. i have 36 ACT math, 790 math II, 5 AP calc AB, As/B+ in honors/AP math classes, but i can only manage a 690 on SAT math? it's frustrating but in the end they are just scores and they really don't mean much.

Okay well i had trouble with SAT Math too. I mean, i've been a math person all my life, and my HP Precal teacher wrote "one of the best students of his career" for this program i was applying to, and i get a 740 on the SAT Math. Honestly, i don't know what to do with myself. I missed 2 problems. But hey, that's still 97th percentile, and i bet 690 is more than 90% percentile. WOW 36 ACT? THAT's amazing! A 4 on APUSH is anywhere from 75 to 89% percentile. WHAT DO I DO?

It's just that my mother wants me to got to a great college and god, i just want her to be proud of me.

I've spent countless hours, making sure that I covered every detail of US History, and trust me, i'm not the cocky type. I stress out and do well on them. This has always been the pattern for me. For APUSH, i don't know what went wrong.

It could very well be an anomaly. You might have misbubbled, or wrote the essays wrong or something. It's just a test, and although for you a 4 may seem very low because you did work very hard and expected the best, colleges won't expect you to be faultless and perfect and always get the best possible score.

I'm going to wait to know that I failed English Lit in the mail. :P

yeah i understand what you're talking about. it's kind of the same for me and SAT math. i have 36 ACT math, 790 math II, 5 AP calc AB, As/B+ in honors/AP math classes, but i can only manage a 690 on SAT math? it's frustrating but in the end they are just scores and they really don't mean much.

Akita I totally sympathize with you...
I have 35 ACT math, 800 Math 2c, 5/5 AB/BC but only 670 in SAT1 math...

boo me.. Dx

I always have trouble with the stupid way the CollegeBoard words their math questions (except for the calculus exams- most M/C questions are relatively well-written for those.)

The silly part about taking the SAT Math and SAT II Math is that most people know all of the topics and know everything they need to know about the subject, but they word things weirdly and require you to utilize the fact that the question is multiple choice in order for you to do the problems. D:

maybe it's because of the mental pressure, you know? like when u walk into an SAT subject test, you feel pretty confident cuz you're like "HELK THIS IS MY STRONG SUBJECT" but then for the SAT 1, you probly feel nervous and pressed for time with reading, writing and then come math and then you find yourself trippin.
