can anyone come up with an explanation as to why my ap lang and us history scores have been delayed? I was fuming when I saw those stupid asterisk marks >=| ***?

anyone? bump

it's happened to at least three four people, including me, on this forum, so it's frustrating, but apparently not uncommon. A fellow CCer (BigIs) posted these possible reasons for the delay:

Your school didn't include it in the initial mailing and sent it back late. (Papers are still being sent in and graded)

Your book was damaged during the scanning process and has been reconstructed and graded late.

You forgot to put an ID sticker on the book.

The book was mis-sorted and sent to the wrong reading.

Books that are used for writing samples are xeroxed without removing them from the work flow

First, what you should do is call AP Services at 888 225 5427 and make sure that they will be sending another report. Most likely, they will tell you that the score is on file, but at the time the reports were sent, your exam was not completed. For some reason, they WILL NOT give you your score on the phone for free. Either you have to pay eight dollars or wait, and for me, I'd rather wait than pay another cent to that evil corporation.

when I got my score report it read:
Year Taken Name of Examination Grade
07 Calculus AB *96
07 Calculus BC *96
06 US History 3

*96 Exam is being completed- And should arrive within three weeks

so I think, for me, that my exam was sent to the wrong readers (I never took BC only Calc AB)

I took my AP Lang/Comp late. It didn't appear on the thing CB sent me, so is it supposed to be late if I had to make it up?

^
yes (10 char).

ya im waiting on spanish lang...not that i really want to see it though...

thanks inguyen =)
