Delayed Scores and Missing Test

I got my score report in the mail today (Texas), and in addition to my English Lit and Physics B scores being delayed, my Calculus BC test is missing altogether from the report. This cannot be a good thing. This is also unfortunate since I have college orientation soon and needed to see for which classes I gained credit. Should I call and ask what's up? Does BC missing mean that they didn't get my test at all?

You should call up. Looks serious.

Thanks. If I don’t get my scores by July 18, I just wasted $168 (each test is $56 at my school). You’d think that they’d manage to grade all the tests in two month’s time. What else are they doing.

Wow, each test is $95 at my school. Someone is definitely making a profit.

Anyway, I hope you can figure out what’s going on with your scores… The missing Calc test doesn’t seem to bode well, so if I were you I would call to ask :/

The exams at our school are 86$, but yea I would definitely call. something is not right

Yeah I definitely think I’m going to call on Monday. And I visited a school where the tests were only eight dollars!!!

Well, some schools including my school has discounts towards students when buying AP tests, like in my school if you get free lunch then you only pay $5.

Also, one reason why it might be delayed is due to the information you put in the test sheet, it could be incorrect.

Well I don’t think I put any wrong information, but that might be the case. Whatever the case, this is a misfortune.

My son’s AP Psychology scores are delayed. Here is the message he got:
*86 score delayed - to be reported as soon as possible

Anybody know what *86 means?

He called a few other kids that were in his testing room. They all received their scores. What’s up?

Not to be mean or anything, but the Collegeboard does have a 1-800 number for a reason. The tests are both expensive and important, and relying on a forum for answers which may be correct or incorrect does not seem like a good choice.

There are several theories for delays, I’m assuming that your son’s test sheet may have incorrect information. If your son still has the AP Student Pack it may have more info about the delays

Right, but OP has college orientation soon and the 1-800 number isn’t working, since it’s Saturday (and won’t be up until 8 AM EDT on Monday).

How is it even possible that you’re paying $95? Your school is ripping you off and making a lot of money! Seriously.

Everyone at my school doesn’t have to pay anything for AP Exams, I guess the district pays for them.

I called College Board this morning…what a waste of my time. I told them that I was just asking if I could find out why my son’s test scores are delayed. The lady on the phone looked up his information and said, “His scores are delayed, we will get the scores to you as soon as possible.” I told her that I knew that because that information was printed on his score report and asked if she could tell me why. She said that she didn’t know and that the whole classes scores were delayed because the teacher either gave them 5 minutes too much or 5 minutes too little or there was cheating in the classroom. I then said that was probably not accurate information since the other students in the room already got their scores. Then she said, “Oh, well then I don’t know. You will just have to wait for the score report. We will get it to you as soon as possible”

Definitely call up.

That’s collegeboard’s famous customer disservice for ya :D

In the mail today, I got another score report with all of my scores on it. Problem solved!
