When I apply, I only want to send my ACT w/ writing score. I have taken a few AP classes, and want to eventually send those scores, but I don't want them to have anything to do with my admission, just credit.

BUT will it look bad that I'm not sending my scores when I apply? If it shows that I took all of these AP classes and didn't send the scores, would it look like I did poorly in the class?

I was just going to send the scores if I got in....

you dont show ap scores until after you get accepted. they dont matter in admission

the only way they see your AP scores is if you write them in on the common app. if you’re getting good grades in those AP classes, they’ll see those too.

So then should I write them on the common app? Are 4s good enough for them or do they just want to see 5s?

4s are fine. I wouldn’t worry too much about it because you can’t prove anything and they don’t ask for proof so I doubt they really care either.
