Do i need to send a AP score report for Cal states?
and if i do is it just one school or all the ones i am applying to?

In general (I don’t know specifics for the CSUs):

You just self-report scores when applying, you only send a Score report to the school where you decide to matriculate.

really? but people i know are sending scores to schools they are applying to

Yes, really.

Many students are under the misconception that official AP scores are sent with the application (I just answered another thread before yours). Go back and read the instructions, colleges SAY to send SAT/ACT Score Reports, do they SAY to send an AP Score Report?

Now I see that it was YOUR thread I answered. If you have additional questions/information on the same topic, you can just add it to your original thread rather than start another thread.

[CSUMentor - Plan for College - High School Students - Grades and Test Scores](<a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Freshman: Testing Requirements | CSU)

I see instructions for sending ACT & SAT Score reports, no mention of AP tests or scores.

CSUs other than SLO just put your GPA and SAT CR+M or ACT score into an eligibility index formula, and then admit applicants in descending order until the campus or major is full. AP scores are not used for admission in this process, although they are used for credit and placement once you attend.

The only exception may be if CSU allows AP scores to satisfy a-g requirements in the absence of high school course work, like UC does. But the CSU web sites appear to be silent about this, so if this may apply to you, contact CSU directly.
