I don't think so. It's either you pay $8 and call in or you wait in the mail.

5 on AP US Hist.

Pretty happy, even though I was sure I'd get that

yeah... us hist is very ez to get

grrr...I gave in... the CB's seductiveness is ever so uncanny:
Environmental Science- 5
World History- 5
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm only a sophomore)

i didn't even get my score back

i only took AP calc BC & got 5, but i'm a sophomore

AP Euro - 4
AP CompSci A - 5

i dunno, i'm pretty happy :) jeez i don't get why people wanna kill themselves over a 4 when even some of the best colleges treat 4's and 5's the same way.

prospective AP's next year: CompSci AB, US Hist., English Lang. (? not sure about the last one)

how the hell do you guys afford so many APs...

10 APs x 80 dollars =800 dollars! waste of money!!!

Actually it's 82 dollars per exam (if you have to pay for it, since some schools cover the cost).

How are you all already getting your scores? I am waiting for mine in ME.

Well, I took AP Spanish lang. and AP Bio. The Spanish one was ok (my teacher said that if I was better at taking standardized tests and didn't get nervous before big tests he would expect me to get a 5, but I should be able to get a 4.) I was taking the test under bad conditions, and I had trouble during the long narrative (listening section) because of construction going on right outside the window.

And the Bio test I knew was going to suck. My Bio teacher was horrible! She retired this year when I graduated, and I wish she had last year so I could have had the good Bio teacher I had soph. year. Well, the multiple choice part was horrible (as I expected), but somehow my essays were great! So I am hoping for a 3 instead of a 1.

And Spanish, I am expecting a 4.

Well I hope that I did better than I thought I did. It turned out that way last year when I took AP US History and I thought I got a 2 and I got a 4. Well, you never know.

So anyone else in the Northeast got their scores yet?

"10 APs x 80 dollars =800 dollars! waste of money!!!"

10 APs with 5s = 1 year of college = $10000-$45000. Not a bad return, I'd say...

who do you know who has 5s on 10 APs?

and I had 9 5's...close enough :p

wow, i haven't even gotten my scores yet
don't want to call
i guess i'll see them when the mail arrives

which exams?

When I visited MIT, the student tour guide said she had taken 16 AP tests by the end of her sr. year, don't know if they were all 5s though.

someone from my school got eight 5s and a 4 this year alone...plus (i think) six 5s from the last 2 years...that makes 14 of them...

depending on how well i do on my APs this year (waiting for them in the mail), i could have as many as sixteen 5s (hahahahahaha wow i wish)

I know one Siemens AP Award Winner
he had 17 5's - went to Harvard (i think)

would that be junior standing? allready a college degree?

no b/c Harvard does not give advanced standing
however, he was allowed to skip some classes to take more advacned ones
