AP Scores Questions

For the AP tests this year, I put UCLA down as the school to send my scores to. (I put down UCSD for last year's tests)

Oddly enough, on my MyUCLA, it's only showing the scores for this year's tests.

I was under the impression that the scores were cumulative, and that they would include my scores from last year as well.

So (1) is anyone having this problem? And (2) should I get collegeboard to rush deliver my scores from last year (even though they were all 2's)?

My friend also has the same problem, where on myUCLA, it shows her '06 scores but not her '05 ones. She told me that she wrote a slightly different name on each one (something to do with her middle name). I told her to call the College Board. However, since you said that the rest of the AP scores that are missing are 2's, I don't see why you would need to tell UCLA of those scores, since you won't get any credit for them.

So, if you really want them to be sent to UCLA, I suggest you call CB tomorrow to figure out what went wrong, but, again, I dont really see the point if you are not going to get credit for those AP tests anyways.

Cheers. :D

Count your blessings, UCLA will be blind to two 2s that you got...

After taking a second look at my scores from last year (surprised I hadn't burned them in the fireplace yet), I realized that my birthdate is wrong on my last year's scores. That explains a lot.

I'm just worried because I reported the 2's that I got on my application, and I don't want to give them the impression that I lied.

But at the same time, it seems like such a waste to report scores I won't even get credit for.

I say just don't worry about it. If UCLA asks you, then tell them that the CB screwed it up... as they usually do. :P

I highly doubt UCLA cares either.

i actually called collegeboard about this. i asked them if they sent both my scores from this year and last year and they said yes. however, on myucla they only showed this year's score. maybe ucla only posts up this year's?

Well.... most of the people I've talked to (including myself) has all AP scores reflected on myUCLA, including last year's.

Since you reported it on your application, I think you should try to send them again.

Ask the collegeboard to merge/link your files, since the files are probably seperate if you have different birthdays for different years.

hope that helps!
