quick question, how do i send in past AP scores? I know during this year's ap testing i sent in the tests directly to UCLA. But what of my past scores? Do i need to request this somehow? I heard there was an archive with our tests and we needed to mail something somehow? Help! thx a lot

All the past scores should be included if you sent them this year.

so you're sure this is what happens?

ah ok thanks!

Hi Everyone! I just called the Grade by Phone service today and it says that most of the grades for the 2007 AP tests are now available to check by phone! So if anyone wants to know their AP scores early, you can call them now!

Anyone know when AP scores were available via UCLA last year?

just check my UCLA

they were available.. not soon after. I can't remember exactly. But save yourself the 8 bucks and wait a day or two.

is it obvious on myucla? or will it appear as one of those insignificant links on the left?

Don't worry about not having your AP scores available to UCLA before your orientation session. The most important thing that comes out of going early to O-tation is your being able to register for classes. Go ahead and sign-up for whatever classes. The most uncertainty if you're a science major will probably revolve around what level math you're placed into. Sure, maybe you won't be able to find out if you get out of English 3 or the foreign language requirement - go to the earliest o-session and go ahead and adjust your schedule after leaving o-tation after you get your scores if it's necessary.

When I was signing up for orientation I was close to signing up for the first session but after reading on ULCA's site they made it sound like this wasn't a good idea for ap and such but now I realize this isn't really true. So I chose the next available session, 103, did I make a huge mistake? I should still be able to get the classes I need correct...

You should have listened to current UCLA students who said that the AP scores would be out before the first orientation...

But the third session should have most if not all the courses still available (keeping in mind that they do block off sign-ups after a certain point to allow later orientation students a chance to get some courses, but you of course would have access to signups already and can beat them at getting those courses once they lift the restriction on the courses, especially since there are limited numbers of computers during orientation).

ok thanks it sounds like i'm fine then...
i found this site after i signed up, and just need reassurance that i should be fine

stealth99, i did the same thing... now i am going to 103.
when i checked (first day), current students hadnt posted yet... all i saw were people wondering if UCLA would get the scores in time... some saying they prob wudnt... or it wud be safe to do a later one... so i did 103... now i know i shud have done 101 =[

yeah man oh well..at least we're in the same boat. it can't be that bad, I just wish I would have known. I'm sure we'll be alright

I think I answered this qusetion in May. Obviously, the scores would be available beforehand, and as a backup you know you can phone in. So the safe idea doesn't work here. Just a heads up to think critically.

Mmm... I guess I was reading that back in May. I was only relying on the few posts that had been made in that certain thread that day. I knew I could call in to get the scores myself very early, but I did not think that counted as enuff proof for UCLA to allow me to sign up for the classes.

they are up on myucla!!!

Thanks for the quick update on that.

I can't believe I got a 3 on Calc Ab, I should have failed that test. I left half the FR blank, attempted the other half and failed(except for number 1), and was pretty lost on the MC too.
