AP Scores - should we put on Common App

D received a decent grade in her AP Lit and AP chem classes as a Junior (B+) but only got a 2 and a 3 on the Exams respectively. She would prefer not to include these test scores on the Common App? Would that raise suspicion? The admissions offices cannot assume that every student that takes the class also takes the exam.. can they?

The 3 in Chem may not be bad to show, but I am concerned about the 2.

Think about what colleges will assume if you dont put them down

They can assume that you didn't take the test or didn't get a good of test score as you would have liked so didn't report it. Makes no difference.

where do we fill that out on the common app?

Under Standardized Tests, AP/IB tests.

oh lol that was stupid of me. thanks

I agree with you, don't post the score of 2. For the record, my daughter received a 2 on her AP Physics exam (first year teacher) and she got into Stanford.

Colleges are asking for information about AP test scores on the Common Application to get information about AP test scores. I'd suggest simply reporting all of them.
