AP Scores

I've seen that some other colleges, specifically UCs, have released AP scores already. Does Cal do this too, or do I just wait a couple more days for collegeboard to do it?

They do not… they come out July 10th for Cal.

My D get her AP scores today from her UCB account.

I got my ap scores as well from the myberkeley app

My sons have not shown up on myberkeley app yet.

Hmm… When he took the ap tests, did he specify that they be sent to UC Berkeley? Or did he sign up for it later, after he took the tests?

He sent them to Berkeley. Probably takes a while to upload them all. He is Letters and Science. Are you Letters and Science? He found out his scores at College Board via some sort of proxy server but needs them to be posted so he can sign up for a certain class.

Yes, I am letters and science.

What certain class needs the AP scores to be posted before signing up? Prerequisites are not typically checked during registration.

He got a 5 on AP English Lang last year which fulfills the entry-level writing requirement. He did not fulfill the requirement via the AWPE, SAT or ACT. “Fulfillment of the University of California Entry-Level Writing requirement (formerly known as the Subject A requirement) is a prerequisite to enrollment in all reading and composition courses.” He wants to take a class to fulfill the second part of the reading and composition requirement and the computer won’t let him. His second pass is tomorrow at 5pm so we are hoping they are posted by then.

Hmmm, interesting that the registration system does check prerequisites for R&C courses.

Scores posted today, just in time for Phase II!
