<p>My daughter, as is her style, kind of smoothly moves through life and I rarely bother her with details on what she does - she is trustworthy and mature and I am glad she is happy to be acccountable to herself first. But I did manage to look at her AP scores posted on the refrigerator - all 5's and one 4 among 8 tests - from my perspective (yes, I might be bragging) a pretty good set of achievements - and typically in her modest way ones she wouldn't think important to relate - but it strikes me she should at least investigate what kind of credit she might obtain at Umich. Anyone familiar with UMich's policies on AP tests? Does it vary by school or department? Sorry if the question is too open ended.</p>
<p>Congratulations on your daughters success. She did exceptionally well on her tests.
UM does grant ap credit for some classes. Based on your ap scores, you can also be placed into higher level classes. And, yes, the policy does vary from school to school.
