AP scores

are we supposed to send brown our AP scores? i just realized probably i should, but was not sure if it is important because 1) it is expensive and 2) people always talk about sending SAT score reports but never and AP report

p.s. i noted my score on the commonapp, i'm just wondering abotu teh report

oh shoot i hadn't even thought about that. i'd like to know also.

I'm not sure about Brown, but I don't know of any colleges that require you to send an AP score report for admissions. The Common App does let you self-report scores, but I don't think an official report is necessary. You can pick and choose which scores you report, but don't lie about it since they can rescind your acceptance if they find out later. Once you decide on which college to attend, you send the AP Score report for course placement.

When I applied Brown, like every other school, did not look at AP scores as a part of the admissions process. You only send a report when you're admitted and want to get credit/placement.

most colleges say they look at your AP scores for admissions purposes, but they don't require you to send in a report from college board until after you're admitted
I guess the reasoning is that if it turns out that you lied about your scores, then they're going to take away for admittance anyway
